Wire we buy
Wire and cable we buy in Virginia
Seventeen categories, one rule: the material has to be identifiable and the condition has to be described. Everything else is a conversation about size and footage.

Every page below explains what a category actually is, what identifies it on a reel, what reduces a lot, and what to send. If you do not know which category your material belongs to, that is normal — describe it as unknown and include photographs. The review will classify it.
Wire and cable only. Transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers and scrap machinery are outside the scope of this service, whatever else is on the pallet.

Three photographs answer most identification questions: the reel tag on the flange, the printed legend running along the jacket, and the cut end of the cable. Read how to read a reel tag and jacket print before you send anything, and the submission gets quicker for both sides.
Questions sellers ask
Questions about this material
Do you review a mixed pallet of several cable types?
Yes, with each type listed separately. A pallet that mixes tray cable, THHN and control cable is normal; a pallet described only as "mixed wire" cannot be reviewed precisely.
What is definitely out of scope?
Transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, machinery and site equipment. This is a wire and cable buying service.
Is there a minimum quantity?
There is no published minimum, but a lot needs to be worth a review. Small lots are best submitted together with other material from the same site rather than one reel at a time.

Describe the lot as it actually sits. Photos of the reel tag and jacket print do more than any description, and mixed or unidentified cable can still be submitted for review.
